Freedom is...slowly being taken away from us. Our constitution is being questioned all the time. If it worked for our forefathers, then it should not be contested...for they were men of God. Men of country. Men of family. Freedom is waking up everyday knowing your family is safe because of the sacrifices of others. Freedom has never been free...pretty costly actually. Freedom is knowing we can worship how we want and not hide in fear from persecution. Freedom is conservatively liberating!
...So many things wrapped into one life. Knowing that there are men and women who have shed their blood for us to remain able to have and be anything we want to be, being able to follow our hearts desires, knowing that there will be no persecution (as long as it is approved by God). Freedom is watching your kid(s) fall, cry, love and grow knowing that they are the future we are depending on. But for me freedom was my parents and being raised in the same one horse town that I still live in :-). Being raised to trust in God for my every need and want, and to salute the Flag and the men and women that stood for it, and be honored to carry it on many occasions as well. That's a book LOL but as I said Freedom is so many small things wrapped into one heading :-) Have a great and safe 4th everyone
Why my husband is gone 7+ months of the year. (= I do miss him, but I'm glad he makes sure I'm free to raise Sammy serving God openly instead of having to secretly meet or worry about dying for being Christian.
